I love the opportunity to photograph family’s! Fred owner of Chapman Inn in Bethel Maine called on friday and said ” Don’t laugh but any chance you can photograph my family tomorrow?” So Lucky I was free and so VERY happy to do so! Such a great family!

Beautiful Wedding at Library Hall on Bailey Island!

Caroline and Jeff worked hard at making their wedding special and very special it was!!! Library Hall was the perfect size for their friends and family. Details gave me endless photo opportunities! It was a special treat to have the weather, including gorgeous sunset cooperating. I just love it when the couple agrees to leave the party for some additional photos! Luckily the perfect setting was right out the door! Thank you Caroline and Jeff for a fabulous day!

Lawnmower man…the story! I pulled into the driveway behind the Library Hall and there were no parking spaces left so I tried the driveway to the right and got out of my car. Up at the beautiful home above was a man in a lawn mower frustratingly waving me away. The wedding group and I grabbed a fast shot before I guiltily jumped in to move my car as Lawnnmower man then charged done upon us and my fear of being reprimanded was relieved by the most beautiful smile and apology for having me move the car and then gave me permission to photograph on the lovely expansive lawn (which of course we took advantage of) I love his shy smile as he must have realized he was in the shot! Thank you Lawnmower man!

Had a great time photographing Kallies high school senior portrait. She choose Screw Auger Falls in beautiful Newry Maine. It was one of the first chilliest days of the season, but that didn’t stop all the leaf peepers. With all the cameras around it looked like a photo club!~ I’m glad Kallie wasn’t too shy!

Rebecca and Ethan had a lovely wedding on parent’s Tree Farm in Farmington Maine. A pig roast with pig’s being a fun theme! The girls even had temporary tatoos! Dogs were joyfully invited!!! Wedding cake being a Large size whoopie pie! Homestead catered and did a great job getting everything under the tent when ‘Irene’ decided to give a pounding prelude!

Another fabulous time at the beautiful Skiesta home in Newry Maine. I had the pleasure of shooting the rehearsal AND a TTD session later that week. Great family and friends…. It was so much fun! Thanks everyone for making me feel a part of the group! You are all awesome!

Bethel Maine State Triathlon ~2011

Had a fantastic time photographing the Bethel Maine State Triathlon for the Bethel Area Chamber of Commerce. The first Leg is the swim, starting at the Bethel Inn’s Beach house on Songo Pond. Then the bike and run has beautiful scenery for the racers. It’s a great race, changed courses a bit since I participated a few years ago but I believe is even better now that every leg is in the same location.
It was hard choosing images…so many fun!
